Path to Perfection

Can they do it? Can the Green Bay Packers repeat by winning a consecutive Super Bowl and accomplish the ultimate season by going completely undefeated? Right now the Green Bay Packers are 11-0 this season. There are still five more regular season games that could mess up their perfection, however, they would still have to make it through the playoffs after those games as well. Their offense is completely unstoppable with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the best receiver core in the NFL. Rodgers has been picking apart defenses with his perfect passes all season long and is everyone's favorite to win the MVP award this year. However, he is not doing it alone. I think the Packers have the best receiver core in the NFL this year with wide receivers like Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Donald Driver, and rookie Randle Cobb stepping up at times. They also have one of the best receiving tight ends named Jermichael Finely. With all of these weapons in the hands of the best quarterback in football it is every defenses nightmare. The Packers are averaging over 300 passing yards a game and have the highest scoring offense in the NFL. If the Packers go on to win the Super Bowl again then there is no doubt in my mind that Aaron Rodgers will win the MVP award this year. And after being passed up by so many teams in the 2006 NFL draft a lot of people are probably kicking themselves in the ass for not selecting what might be the best quarterback to play the game.
