McNabb Waived
The Minnesota Vikings released NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb on Thursday. Donovan is now able to sign with any team that wants him. The release of McNabb was reported to be mutual between the quarterback McNabb and Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier. The quarterback is in his thirteenth season as a quarterback, after being drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles second overall in the 1999 NFL Draft and spent ten season with the Eagles. After he left Philadelphia McNabb went to the Washington Redskins, but was later benched in the season for quarterback Rex Grossman. After the 2010 season, Donovan McNabb went to the Minnesota Vikings and suffered a repeated occurrence. McNabb was benched a few games before mid-season for rookie quarterback Christian Ponder. Donovan is now a free agent and on the market looking for the next step in his career. I personal think that McNabb does not have much left in his career, however, I do not think this is how McNabb should end his last year in the NFL. There are some notable teams that might show interest in bring Donovan in. One team for example would be the Houston Texans, after losing quarterback Matt Schubb. However they just signed Jake Delhomme I don't think they will be in a rush for him. Then there is the Chicago Bears, who lost quarterback Jay Cutler because of a broken thumb on his throwing hand. Not to mention that Chicago is Donovan's home town. The Bears also have a winning record sitting at 7-4, it seems like a perfect fit to me.

Path to Perfection
Can they do it? Can the Green Bay Packers repeat by winning a consecutive Super Bowl and accomplish the ultimate season by going completely undefeated? Right now the Green Bay Packers are 11-0 this season. There are still five more regular season games that could mess up their perfection, however, they would still have to make it through the playoffs after those games as well. Their offense is completely unstoppable with quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the best receiver core in the NFL. Rodgers has been picking apart defenses with his perfect passes all season long and is everyone's favorite to win the MVP award this year. However, he is not doing it alone. I think the Packers have the best receiver core in the NFL this year with wide receivers like Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, James Jones, Donald Driver, and rookie Randle Cobb stepping up at times. They also have one of the best receiving tight ends named Jermichael Finely. With all of these weapons in the hands of the best quarterback in football it is every defenses nightmare. The Packers are averaging over 300 passing yards a game and have the highest scoring offense in the NFL. If the Packers go on to win the Super Bowl again then there is no doubt in my mind that Aaron Rodgers will win the MVP award this year. And after being passed up by so many teams in the 2006 NFL draft a lot of people are probably kicking themselves in the ass for not selecting what might be the best quarterback to play the game.
Ndamukong Suh
Ndamukong Suh was drafted by the Detroit lions second overall in the 2010 NFL draft from the Nebraska. Ndamukong was one of the most dominating defensive tackles in college and most players do not carrying that performance so quickly into the NFL but Suh has. Ndamukong in his rookie year made it to the Pro-bowl and is already considered the number one most dominating defensive tackle in the NFL. Although he is such a beast not every one likes the way he plays. He is not just considered the most dominating player, but also considered one of the most dirtiest players in the game as well. After being one of the most decorated players in college history he is no criticized by many for his aggressive style of play. I love the way he plays physical style defense, but I did not agree with his play on Thanksgiving day against the Greenbay Packers. Suh has only been in the NFL for one and a little over a half of season and has already been fined $42,500 for his rough play. That's a lot of money especially for a young career but the worst came when Ndamukong Suh stomped a Packer's player on the ground during a national televised game on Thanksgiving. Suh's actions were inappropriate and on a national game set a bad example for young players. Suh was ejected from the Thanksgiving game and is now facing a two game suspension. He has an appeal on Thursday, December 1, to try and get it lowered to a one game suspension. Suh's team will be without their best defensive player against the saints this week.
